These are the real deal! Just like Grandma used to make! The pastry crust is done so well it melts in your mouth. The filling have just enough apple to enhance the flavor of the nut filling, which was very generous and moist.
The packaging it’s done so well that they stay fresh in the shipment. They came within a couple days very pleased with all their products and it’s a nice touch that they give you the option to purchase cookies for our soldiers and they send them !! great company.

My husband's sister made the best Nut Roll, hands down, the best! But she passed away and I needed to find something to replace her recipe. I found Butter Maid and never looked back. I'll bet even she would have to agree. Your filling is so sweet and so full! I think the older women in our families worked until they found the best recipes. Honey makes the walnut a bit moister, which i prefer over plain walnut. Your kolachi are almost as good a my mom's were. Her poppy seed rolls were never my favorite, but when she added shredded coconut-wow! Mom's name was Gloria, so Gloria and Jim- would you PLEASE try adding coconut to your poppy seed kolachi ??
