Forget Pecan Pies…

My friend grew up in Tennessee and loves pecan pies. I introduced her to the nut rolls like the walnut and poppyseed ones my Czechoslovakian grandma from the Pittsburgh suburbs used to make in the 60s.I have to buy her 2 every holiday because she eats one before she travels to New York and/or Tennessee to visit her family with the other.

Pecan kolachi and Apricot kolachi

Oh what memories! These are just like what my Grandmother used to make! Started my day off with a couple of slices and a cup of coffee. Can’t get much better than that!!

My delicious memories

I grew up enjoying homemade kolachi rolls on holidays made by my oldest sister, a memory I cherish. Imagine my delight when I found out I could get it from a bakery of which it was originally made as well as my birth city and state of which I visit. Aside from that, this kolachi is so delicious and always fresh. It is shipped fast and keeps well frozen and is perfect for any time of year and for any occasion!
