Honey makes the walnut a bit moister, which i prefer over plain walnut. Your kolachi are almost as good a my mom's were. Her poppy seed rolls were never my favorite, but when she added shredded coconut-wow! Mom's name was Gloria, so Gloria and Jim- would you PLEASE try adding coconut to your poppy seed kolachi ??

Of all the rolls I’ve eaten from Buttermaid this is one of my favorites. It has a generous amount of filling and the honey walnut combination makes it delectable.
