Reduced Sugar Walnut Kolachi

The reduced sugar walnut kolachi is delicious, this is my second reduced sugar roll. It is filled with an abundance of nut filling and baked to perfection. It is as good as the original walnut kolachi, without the added sugar. It is reasonably priced and a good size. Thank you, I am happy to be able to have found a variety of Kolachi at Buttermaid.

Unbelievable

Growing up in a small mining community in South West PA, walnut kolachi rolls (nut rolls) were a staple for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is the first reduced sugar roll that we have tried. From the first slice to the last, it was loaded with filling. With the fist bite it took me back to the days of many years ago with my mom making them for Thanksgiving in Rowes Run , PA. Awesome job Butter Maid, you have taken me back to a time when life was quieter. Don’t change a thing!!!

Just perfect

I am a big fan of the walnut kolache as my grandmother used to make it. I love that it is reduced sugar as I try to limit that. It tastes great, certainly no skimping on the walnut filling. So convenient to order and it ships fresh. I always have some in the freezer.

These nut rolls (kolachi) are so good and to be less sugar makes my soul happy. There is nothing like having a great cup of coffee and a slice of reduced sugar walnut kolachi. They are packaged so well. Fresh, moist and tasty.
