I tried to find a kolachi that could be as delicious as the ones my mother made. I found them at Butter Maid bakery. The dough is so delicate, and the fillings are flavorful and abundant. I have purchased them at bakeries around my locale, but the crust was always too thick which overtook the taste of the fillings. I have ordered from Butter Maid numerous times and will again soon. Also, I have passed the info on to my friends and relatives who have enjoyed them and they have ordered also because of the delightful taste of these delicacies.

I had bought these thinking I had enjoyed apricot and nut cookies in the past so figured if they were as good as those they’d be fine too. Nope past being fine they were great and the raspberry filling was excellent. Yet another great selection and another great find!

Holy shnarkies! We opened our box and were impressed with the great job they did packing and shipping these pastries, which arrived fresh less than 48 hrs after we ordered. We experienced a brief period of disappointment when we opened the intricately sealed plastic containers, as the pastries were much smaller than we had imagined they’d be. They’re a cookie, a one, maybe two-biter… which is a good thing, because once you try them you’ll realize that making them larger would be just insane! These pack a wallop of flavor that may take you down, so make sure you’re sitting and relaxed when you try one. These are one of the most pleasant surprises the internet has ever given us. How are these beatuies not better known? They remind me of my Czech grandmother and her baking when I was a kid. Thanks for the wonderful memories and for the ridiculously delicious treats!
