I was born and raised in a western Chicago suburb when it was the heart of the Czechs. The bakery that I used to go to every week has now closed, so I was looking for someone who could provide me with delicious Kolacky (pronounced Kolachky). The cream cheese kolacky roll is simply outstanding, and I have purchased many from y'all to date. Thanks for giving me a taste of where I was raised.

My Mom lived to be 103 years old. Her recipe for Kolachi Rolls date back to the early 1900’s and the Butter Maid recipe tastes just like Moms. Butter Maud uses the best ingredients to bake up delicious Rolls. You won’t be disappointed,

In all the orders I have placed both personal & as gifts, I have been very pleased. The Cream Cheese Kolachi Roll is among the favorites. However, this time I was disappointed & glad it was not a gift.

The end of the roll was dry & lacked any cream cheese. As I sliced almost the first third there was a slim taste of cream cheese in the center - not visible. From that point on it got better. I froze the second half & have no idea what the other end is like.

I gave it 5 stars because I was able to enjoy some of it & this was so unusual to experience. I will not hesitate to continue ordering as gifts & for myself. I just wanted to let you know about this aberration.
