After reading several reviews, I took a chance and placed an order. Little did I know that once I tasted this I immediately became me as a child! Mind you, I grew up with a Slovak mama who made these from scratch, so Buttermade Bakery had big shoes to fill! These kolacky are truly the best ( and I’ve placed several orders since!)

My sisters and I grew up making these cookies at Christmas for 70 years. First helping grandma then mom. Once they passed on we made them ourselves every year up until 2 years ago. Our health has made it impossible to continue the tradition since lasted from the time our grand parents landed in Cleveland Ohio on a long journey from Poland. The making of butter horns marked the best part of celebrating the holidays. They are tedious to make but the best cookies ever made. Finding that I could order them from this wonderful family on line was the best find ever. Now I order 3 boxes at a time every time I order. One goes to my sister in Portland Oregon, one to my sister in Missouri, and one for me. Plus a donated box for our soldiers. Thank you so much. Please don't stop making them.

These nut horns are so close to my mom's recipe that I thought my niece sold the recipe! I received as a gift from my brother because he thinks the same way. They are definitely made with love and delicious.

These are my ultimate favorite cookie and this company makes them just like I remember them as a child. Out of the 4 orders I had since before Christmas 2025 only 1 was delivered with half the cookies broken up. However I contacted the company and provided photos of the broken cookies and they sent me out a replacement for them. That alone made a huge difference to me!

These kifli cookies are very tasty, but also very expensive. High quality ingredients. I could eat the entire box in one sitting if I didn't watch myself. :)
